

She currently is embarking on her fourth year teaching at Southeastern, where she is proud to serve as a role model, impacting young adults within the platform of communication. Within that role, the goal is simple: speak into the lives of young Christians, mentor and develop women to be advocates for Christ, and teach the people of God how to draw others in with passionate, poignant evangelism. Green works to exude the Spirit of Excellent in disseminating the gospel, and hopes that her voice will leave a legacy of service, passion, and devotion to the Body of Christ. The daughter of two phenomenal parents, Gregory P. Green and Jacqueline Paige Green, Keturah attributes her success to their spiritual guidance and an exceptional upbringing.

Classically trained, Paige-Green has chosen to utilize her talent for the glory of God and the demonstration of the Spirit in power. Most Recently, she performed a rendition of His Eye is on the Sparrow with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra at the first annual Louisiana Gospel Tradition, which ushered a standing ovation from the enthusiastic audience. She has also been a part of the Warring Women’s Conference since its inception, and is blessed to have this spiritual connection with Warring Women Outreach.
Currently, Paige-Green is Professor of Voice at Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she works tirelessly to pass on her legacy of singing to talented, devoted music students. She is married to Gregory P. Green and has one daughter, Keturah Euodia Green.

Pastor Joann Grimes has over 20 years of experience in Church leadership, training, and establishing ministries of helps program. This includes establishing a biblical model for teaching Discipleship classes to make new disciples.
In 1993, Pastor Joann Grimes (along with her husband) started in ministry conducting small group bible studies in their home -Called the World Prayer Congress- until 2001. This bible study set the foundation for their future trajectory in the ministry.
Pastor Joann Grimes has facilitated numerous workshops and conferences that have lead many to Christ. She is licensed and ordained and serves as a member of Faith Ministries Alliance, under the leadership of Dr. Bill Winston of Living Word Christian Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Grimes’ passion is changing the lives of people through teaching and preaching the word of God. She is married to Pastor Gregory B. Grimes and they have four children and four grandchildren.

This personal achievement allowed him to further both his education and football career, thereby attending Southern University as a student athlete from 1992-1996. Excelling in both the classroom and on the football field, Virgil earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Sociology, while also serving as a prominent player and team leader on dominating Southern University football teams that won 2-Black College National Championships (1993, 1995) and also a SWAC Championship (1993).
From 1996-1999, Mr. Smothers continued his graduate studies at Southern University, obtaining his Master of Arts degree in Mental Health and received a lifetime member induction into the Golden Key National Honor Society. He has since worked with many children, families and adults as a Specialized Crisis Counselor, and also have devoted countless hours volunteering as a mentor to many different youths and youth organizations.
Virgil later entered into medical sales as a pharmaceutical representative with Merck & Co., Inc. During a successful career in pharmaceutical and medical devices, he launched and/or marketed over 16 drugs and/or new drug indications, while winning numerous awards, recognitions, and top rankings along the way.
In all, Mr. Smothers has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, public relations, and business development. His extensive background includes: radio advertising sales, entertainment marketing (music), and healthcare sales and marketing (pharmaceuticals and medical devices).
Although currently working in healthcare sales, Mr. Smothers is also the founder and operator of NEW HEIGHTS BMC Holdings, llc. and NEW HEIGHTS Business Marketing Consultants, which is a business consulting and marketing firm. He is a lifetime member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the Southern University Football Alumni Association (SUFAA), serving in the role of Director of Public Relations.
On April 8th , 2015 Virgil accepted his spiritual calling. While yielding to The Holy Spirit, he completely gave his life over to God and accepted Jesus Christ as his LORD and Savior. He immediately began attending Abundant Life Christian Center, headed by Pastor Timothy Dunn and 1st Lady Shameika Dunn. One month later, Virgil was officially baptized on May 17th, 2015.
Mr. Smothers resides in Prairieville, Louisiana with his wife of 19 yrs. (Danielle B. Smothers). He has two beautiful children (Brock-Michael Smothers and Maci D. Smothers) and one grandchild (Brylie A. Smothers).
